TOPIC : Atmos Energy : Fueling Our Energy Future
Throughout Lance Andrew’s 41 year career with Atmos Energy, he has served in various leadership roles and has developed in-depth experience in gas distribution/pipeline operations and construction. From 2008 to 2016, Lance served in the role of director of Dallas Operations for Atmos Energy’s Mid-Tex division. In 2016 Lance was promoted to Vice President of Operations for Atmos Energy’s West Texas Division and most recently has assume the role of Vice President of Operations for the Mid-Tex divisions’ East Region.
Lance has demonstrated his leadership in the gas industry by serving on the American Gas Association (AGA) Distribution Construction and Maintenance Committee for many years and served as Chair for one year. He also served on the AGA Best Practices Steering Committee. For 10 years he served on the Board of Directors for Texas Excavation Systems, Inc. (Texas 811) six of those years as board chair.
Lance’s leadership examples expand beyond that of the company and the gas industry. He has served on boards for several non-profit organizations including the Colleyville Chamber of Commerce Advisory Board and the Woodland Hills Homeowners Association. He is also active in the community dedicating his leadership to fundraising in support of scholarships through the State Fair of Texas. He contunues to serve on the Advisory Board for the State Fair of Texas. Lance has completed the Leadership Dallas Program and the Leadership Amarillo Canyon Program.
Lance has a Bachelor of Science degree in business management.
Lance will be making a formal presentation on Atmos Energy’s “Fueling Our Energy Future”. The presentation will include an overview of Atmos Energy and their operations, highlighting the Dallas area.
The meeting will be held at our normal meeting location, Corrientes 348 Argentinian Steakhouse. 1807 Ross Avenue, Dallas. The time for the meeting will be 11:30 to 1.

Today, the DEC has luncheon meetings to provide its members with the opportunity for good fellowship and to provide information of an educational nature relative to electrical and energy business as well as other topics of interest
