TOPIC : How Drones Are Making Jobs Safer and Faster

Drew Smith is a Veteran Army Recon Scout. Utilizing his knowledge and military experience, he founded Lone Star Drone. The company employees a number of former military personnel and leveraging their skills and technical capabilites, the company is able to offer filming and photography services that compliment industrial, real-estate, commercial needs of any enterprise.

Through the use of top of the line drone equipment, Lone Star Drone can tackle any engineering or enterprise focused mission from thermography to mapping, modeling to inspection.

The Dallas Electric Club (TDEC) was formed in 1913 as an organization composed of men and women in the electrical field endeavor locally with the utilities, corporations, jobbers and contractors. Today, the TDEC has luncheon meetings to provide its members with the opportunity for good fellowship and to provide information of an educational nature relative to electrical and energy business as well as other topics of interest

Our topics cover current issues in the electric utility industry, as well as local and political interest matters.

Our diverse Board of Directors makes plans each year to provide our members with a convenient and comfortable meeting location, a delicious lunch menu, a provocative and entertaining guest speaker and an opportunity to meet other professionals to widen each other’s business network.
